An 11-year-old girl suffered only a bruised hip after being dragged 100 feet by a car Tuesday morning. The girl was being dropped off by her mom around 8:15 a.m. at Cerbat Elementary School on Jagerson Avenue when the girl's coat got caught in the door. She was then dragged by the four-door sedan for about 100 feet, according to Trish Carter, spokesperson for the Mohave County Sheriff's Office. Both the Sheriff's Office and Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire responded to the scene. The girl was treated at the nurse's office, where it appeared she only suffered a bruised hip. The girl's parents were said to have taken her to the doctor later to make sure she was okay.
