KINGMAN

The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality has released a draft aquifer protection permit for the Kingman Hilltop Wastewater Treatment Plant. The city plans to sell treated wastewater. The draft permit is available to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at ADEQ, 1110 W. Washington St., Records Management Center, Phoenix. To view the document, call (602) 771-4380 or e-mail recordscenter@azdeq.gov 24 hours in advance. Comments or a request for a public hearing on the project can be submitted to Bob Manley, project manager, ADEQ, Groundwater Section, 1110 W. Washington St, MC5415B-3, Phoenix, AZ 85007. Writers must give a reason for the request of a public hearing. All comments and requests must be received by ADEQ by April 11.



MOHAVE COUNTY

County Public Works crews will be repairing roads all over the county this week. Blade trucks will be active on Diamond Bar Road and in Golden Valley.
Crews are still repairing storm damage and potholes in Meadview, Dolan Springs, Valle Vista, Golden Valley, So-Hi and Crystal Estates. The county is continuing to work on the realignment of Dubois Road near the intersection of Interstate 40 and Blake Ranch Road.
Mohave County Flood Control is reporting rainfall since March 6 has averaged about 0.31 inches in the Kingman area, 0.77 inches in the Bullhead City area, 0.49 inches in the Lake Havasu City area and 2.20 inches in Meadview.
