Naked man causes a scene in Mohave County office
Doug McMurdo
Miner Staff Reporter

KINGMAN - A mentally ill Fort Mohave man walked into the Mohave County Recorders Office on Tuesday and stripped off his clothes.

Rusty Cooper, deputy chief of the Kingman Police Department, said the 63-year-old man had just been released from the Mohave County jail when he headed to the Recorder's office, disrobed, fought with security and "handled himself" in front of customers and county employees.

Kingman Police officers took the man to Kingman Regional Medical Center with "apparent mental health issues."

He was not arrested and his case is under review for possible charges, said Cooper.

Ms Athens

What a wonderful little story about your being titillated by the sight of nude men in the jail. Weird, but nonetheless … well, what can I say?

“He also said, while working in the kitchen, some type of meat they ate had written on the side NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.”

Okay, now I will ask you for some proof of such an allegation. I am sure you contacted the jail and inquired about this and visited the jail to verify the story was true. Right? Oh, wait, of course you didn’t, you chose instead to post this bit of ridiculousness here. As usual. Why do you do that?

Oh, and BTW I did contact the jail and guess what? They “claim” no such product has ever been used in the jail. Hmm, wonder why they said that? Guess they lied to me, right?

Oh no Linda Athens is a voyeur! I mean this one is truly funny! Maybe she can incorporate it into her regular blog she has reserved on this paper! One can bet her inmate friend was white as rice and does not go armed with only skittles and Arizona tea!

"Las Vegas attracts the mentally ill"
said a psychiatrist recently in the
Las Vegas Sun. (Therefore they
were seated on interstate Greyhounds by the hundreds).
Occasionally, we get a fringe
benefit from Nevada, it seems.

We live in such a modern society we went from a bygone era when these folks were deemed possessed of demons, to mentally ill and now a days we simply say they are mentally ill but know right from wrong which sounds like a insane comment to me, either your not right in the head or are, but we live in this age of some just prefer to think poverty does not exist, insane folks doe not exist, unemployment does not exist all these woes of humanity are desired by their victims, sufferer's, much in the biblical age lepers were deemed sinners and deserving of their fate, disease! Mankind will always have those who ignore the poor, hungry, naked those sick and in prison, always puzzled me why sick and in prison then it dawned on me ifone is in prison and guilty they are either sick of mind or soul!

Hahaha! Too funny.

Which reminds me. I was visiting someone in jail a couple of times a week a year or so ago and much to my surprise, you could see the naked inmates showering. Just flinging the water around, soaping up, rinsing off.

This was while sitting at the little window waiting for the person I was seeing to get to the other side.

Being old with not the vision of a 16 year old these days, as I sat there staring in, I thought, my Lord, that looks like nude men showering.

A closer look assured me it was. I asked the person I visited if there were men behind him showering. Yes, he said. How did you know? Because I see them I said. He was absolutely stunned.

Next time, in line, younger women were giggling about the showering men. Inmates have a right to privacy so I called the Sheriff's office and anyone else I could think of to call.

To date, I am told, nothing has been done about it. Just a simple shower curtain in front of each shower area would solve the problem. Apparently too difficult for them to figure out. On top of that, the person I visited told me, women employees wander through the naked showering men at will. He did not like the women staring at him and neither did the other inmates he said.

He also said, while working in the kitchen, some type of meat they ate had written on the side NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.

A naked man in the Recorder's Office. No biggee to me. He had probably just gotten out of the showers over at the jail and was following their lead.

I probably wouldn't be scared of a naked man in a government building or at the library unless he was carrying a pitchfork. Even then, being sort of tolerant, I'd wait a moment or two (before fleeing) to see whether he had anything coherent to say.

By real common sense,
Can you think of anything more crazy than a person like this also being a follower of AZ mac and gun owner OOO ! This took place in the Admin. building and really intimidated and scarred staff and other patrons, now get real about the library ,there are more homeless more unemployed ,drop outs and kicked out un rulely kids mixed in with 100s of babbies to small children and young teens trying to use the library for its intended purpose and all this I watched while ladies and security were arguing with hot heads about watching Porn .By the way security is not even armed and these crazys have guns and knives ,whats wrong with this picture ? Fools !!!

maybe he just didn't appreciate having to be naked in jail - what were the charges? Considering he stripped at the Recorder's office, maybe it had something to do with a home foreclosure. You just never know.
