Come enjoy a fun evening of adventure with the classic hero Peter Pan as he leads his lost boys and Indian friends into battle against the villainous Captain Hook and his band of pirates. This production is the original 1954 Broadway Musical Theater Version adapted from the play by Sir J.M. Barrie by Jerome Robbins. Music was written by Morris (Moose) Charlp and Jule Styne and lyrics by Carolyn Leigh, Betty Comden, and Adolph Green. Kingman Center for the Arts and Beale Street Theater have brought a cast of around 60 community members of all ages together for six performances during the month of June. These will take place on June 9th and 10th at 7pm with a matinee on the 10th at 1pm and again on June 16th and 17th at 7pm with a matinee on the 17th at 1pm. All performances will take place at Kingman High School, 4182 N. Bank St. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for kids (4-11). Play tickets are available online at bealestreettheater.com or at the door. Additional ticket sale locations are listed on our Facebook page. All proceeds from this production will go toward the Beale Street Theater renovation project and yes, Peter Pan will fly!
