Ladies (and lads) struggling with the effects of cancer treatments should mark their calendars for one week from today when the next installment of the "Look Good, Feel Better" sessions will take place.
The class will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18 at the Del Webb Wellness Center at Kingman Regional Medical Center.
The two hours of free instruction will include free high-end makeup samples and advice from three licensed cosmetologists who understand the unique challenges faced by those in the middle of battling or recovering from cancer.
Tips and techniques will include how to care for changing skin types, how to restore color to the face and how to cover up facial hair loss by penciling in eyebrows.
Wigs will also be available to try on and take home at no cost.
There is no cost, but organizers ask participants to register in advance to make sure there are enough supplies available.
To register, call Chris Turnley at (928) 897-4247 or the American Cancer Society at (866) 500-3272.
