KINGMAN - A planned power outage that will last roughly three hours will occur starting at about 1 a.m. Monday, according to the Mohave Electric Cooperative.
The areas affected are Hualapai Mountain, Valle Vista, Hackberry, Truxton and Cedar Hills, according to the cooperative.
Workers with transmission provider Western Area Power Administration need to cut power to these areas in order to perform improvements to a transmission line, part of an overall effort to enhance infrastructure, said cooperative spokeswoman Lori Fonzi.
