Fleeing suspect arrested

KINGMAN - A burglary suspect led Kingman police officers on a foot chase Tuesday before he was found hiding in the backyard of a nearby home.
Christopher Lee Savage, 26, of Kingman was arrested on felony charges of residential burglary, trafficking in stolen property and resisting arrest.
Savage was a suspect in the burglary of a vacant home in the 1900 block of Pico Street on Monday. An appliance was reportedly stolen.
A police officer investigating the burglary contacted Savage at a home Tuesday in the 2200 block of Florence Avenue.
Savage allegedly resisted arrest and reportedly fled through the back of the residence. Police pursued and found Savage hiding in the backyard of a home in the 2200 block of Lucille Avenue. He was taken into custody without further incident.
