Collision critically injures driver at Kingman intersection

KINGMAN - A Kingman man was flown to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas for life-threatening injuries Wednesday morning after his car collided with a truck stopped at the traffic light at the intersection of Stockton Hill Road and Kino Avenue.
According to Kingman Police, Timothy L. Morgan, 51, was traveling northbound on Stockton Hill Road around 9:40 a.m. when his white sedan ran into the back of a white pickup truck. According to police, Morgan was not wearing a seat belt and had a suspended drivers license. He suffered severe head injuries.
The two occupants of the truck received minor injuries.
Police closed the northbound lanes of Stockton Hill Road near Kino Avenue for about an hour to clear the scene. Both vehicles were towed. Police are investigating the accident to see if alcohol or drugs were involved.
