Christmas Eve collision kills one in Golden Valley
Two vehicles were destroyed Christmas Eve when a Bullhead City man for unknown reasons was driving the wrong way on Highway 68 in Golden Valley. The wreck killed Whitney Michael Davis, 30, and seriously injured three occupants in the truck he hit.

A 30-year-old Bullhead City man was killed Tuesday in a head-on collision with a pickup on Highway 68 near milepost 23.
Whitney Michael Davis was driving eastbound in the westbound lane when his compact car struck a pickup truck. Both vehicles were roughly traveling at the 55 mph speed limit.
Davis was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup and his passengers were transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center in serious but stable condition. One passenger was ultimately transported to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, according to
Department of Public Safety
spokesman Raul Garcia.
According to Golden Valley Fire Department photographer and Kingman Daily Miner blogger Butch Meriwether, the debris field from the crash extended more than 50 yards along both travel lanes and adjacent to the highway.
