They reportedly observed Brodbeck sitting on the living room floor holding a necklace. On April 19, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jennifer Ashley Roach, 24, and Marcus Jacob Lloyd, 21, both of Glendale. Roach was charged with felony possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor DUI. Lloyd was charged with possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies stopped Roach in the area of Benton Street and Gordon Drive at about 12:40 a.m. As deputies spoke with Roach, Lloyd reportedly became disruptive and he was detained. A search allegedly revealed a glass pipe that contained methamphetamine.
Lloyd reportedly told deputies that he and Roach smoked methamphetamine "just prior to the traffic stop," which led to Roach being charged with the DUI. A K9 unit was called to the scene and K9 Ecko indicated there were drugs, but a search failed to yield any contraband. Lloyd was taken into custody without incident. Roach was taken to Kingman Regional Medical Center without incident for a blood draw before she was transported to the Mohave County jail.
