On May 31, Kingman Police arrested Nichole Christine Maday, 26, of Kingman on felony charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers responded to a motel in the 400 block of Beale Street at about 12:15 p.m. regarding a disturbance. They contacted Maday in order to remove her from the property and during a search they allegedly found she was in possession of methamphetamine and heroin, along with the associated paraphernalia. She was taken into custody without incident.
On June 2, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Charles B. Been, 59, of Las Vegas on a fugitive from justice felony warrant issued in Nevada. Deputies stopped Been on Route 66 and Diagonal Way at about 12:20 p.m. for an unspecified traffic infraction. A record check revealed the warrant. Been was taken into custody without incident.
Two for one
On June 4, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jeffrey Scott Douglas, 53, and a 16-year-old female. Douglas was arrested on a felony warrant for fraudulent schemes and artifices issued by a Phoenix justice court and the juvenile was arrested on a felony failure to appear issued by Mohave County Superior Juvenile Court. Deputies conducted a traffic stop for unspecified reasons on Norrie Drive at Northfield Avenue at about 7:35 p.m. A record check revealed the warrants and Douglas and the minor were taken into custody without incident. The girl was booked into the Mohave County Juvenile Detention Center.
