KINGMAN - Lenore Stephy, working with the Kingman Regional Medical Center, is being recognized for creating an Outstanding Career and Technical Education Partnership at Kingman High School.
Lenore started a student externship at KRMC that employs students from our CNA program in a variety of areas throughout the hospital. She has spent many hours developing this program, getting several departments involved, and working with students one-on-one to help each of them become successful.
These students have the opportunity to witness a variety of jobs within the medical setting, work beside medical professionals, and learn new skills in the work environment.
This externship promotes education and community involvement to create well-rounded members of the health care team.
The Kingman High School CTE department and the CNA students want to express their gratitude and appreciation to Mrs. Stephy.
