Seligman man shoots himself, takes himself to hospital

KINGMAN - A Seligman man made it to Kingman Regional Medical Center after accidentally shooting himself in the lower leg Wednesday night.
From there, Gary Nielsen, 59, was airlifted to University Medical Center in Las Vegas.
Nielsen told Mohave County Sheriff's deputies who responded to the hospital at about 9 p.m. that he accidentally shot himself.
Deputies did not explain what Nielsen was doing when the accidental discharge occurred.
Nielsen is listed in fair condition at UMC.
