Police found a truck being sought in a Bullhead City homicide case in Golden Valley last week and arrested the main murder suspect at a home in Kingman.

The truck was located Oct. 3 on Mormon Flat Road at the home of a friend of one of the suspects. Authorities said blood found in the truck bed is believed to have come from Michael Clayton Clark.

Clark, 50, was found lying in the roadway in the 1600 block of Highland Road in Bullhead City around 10:30 p.m. Sept. 29.

He died the next day after being airlifted to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas.

At first, Clark's injuries appeared to be the result of a hit and run. Authorities now believe that Clark died from a beating inflicted by Jade Sterling Tracy, 22, after Clark reportedly disrespected Tracy's father's girlfriend.

The break in the case came when police received a tip and searched a home in the 1200 block of Agate Avenue, where they found evidence of an assault.

Tracy and his friend, 19-year-old Eric Harley Durand, beat Clark so badly that he could not walk or stand, according to Bullhead City Police Spokeswoman Emily Fromelt.

Clark was then placed in the back of a pickup truck and driven by Tracy to Highland Road near Clark's residence. Tracy is said to have reversed the truck at a high rate of speed and slammed on the brakes, causing Clark to fly out the bed of the truck.

Tracy's father, 51-year-old Todd Sterling Tracy, was arrested after he allegedly told his other son, 18-year-old Cole Joseph Tracy, to clean up the blood and destroy the evidence.

Fromelt said Bullhead City Police are working with the city's roads department and searching the landfill for a bloody mattress and some of the victim's personal items Cole Tracy is alleged to have gotten rid of.

Police located Jade Tracy at the home of a family friend on Jagerson Avenue in Kingman Wednesday.

Eric Durand was arrested in Laughlin and is also charged with second-degree murder.

Cole Tracy was arrested for hindering prosecution and destruction of evidence. A summons was issued for Todd Tracy for the same charges.

Todd Tracy's girlfriend, Tiffany Ellis, was arrested for hindering prosecution. Police said she was reportedly present during the assault.
