Former Kingman educator faces child sex abuse charges

A former local educator with ties to both school districts is facing more than a dozen child sex abuse felony charges in the state where he now lives.

Greg Tibbetts is a 1988 Kingman High School graduate who taught at the junior high school level for the Kingman Unified School District and science at Kingman Academy of Learning before being named KAOL Middle School principal in 2000. He left KAOL in the fall of 2003.

He moved to Michigan about a decade ago, where he is now being charged with having a two-year relationship with a 13-year-old boy while he was employed as principal at Vicksburg Middle School.

The relationship was reportedly discovered by the boy's mother, who said she found text messages sent to her son by Tibbetts. Authorities also said they found child porn on Tibbett's school-issued iPad.

KAOL Superintendent Susan Chan said she was aware of the charges against Tibbetts.

"I have never heard anything that would make me think I need to investigate (his time here)," she said. "I would not have suspected this."

KUSD Superintendent Roger Jacks said Tibbetts' tenure was before his time so he did not know him personally, but that he hasn't heard any complaints.

Tibbetts is facing one count of second-degree criminal sexual conduct, five counts of using a computer with child sexually abusive material, five counts of possessing child sexually abusive material, one count of using a computer to solicit another to commit distribution of child sexually abusive material, and a count of exhibiting sexually abusive material to a minor.

Maybe his jury should consist of abortion doctors, meat grinder manufacturers (they DO run aborted fetuses through meat grinders - do your research), and garbage collectors (fetuses are also thrown en masse into dumpsters) ..... not that taking any advantage of the abortion Holocaust survivors - known as society's children whom we all wish to protect in such warm and fuzzy terms - is admirable, but Mr. Tibbetts has excellent company, here and abroad - U.S. attorneys, business and political leaders and all - and as has been posted here before, dozens of labour MPs under Prime Minister Tony Blair's regime, and Lord George Islay McNeill Robertson, Secretary-General of NATO a few boys - I mean years - back. The historical record is full of human nature just as it's full of injustices committed. Just not full enough (in other words - it was always worse than reported). This is a good time for prayer, all right - that the cloak covering society's monstrous crimes might be removed.

I have known Greg since his birth-he was raised in a loving family--I know this is divestating to his mother who is a wonderful person and this will be the Greatest test of faith she has ever had.
I ask all who know the Tibbetts family to please pray for Greg, if you find you can't or simply won't-please pray for his mother and all other family members. I know his mom will need and deserves prayer for strength and peace during this horrid time of her life, she has been wonderful wife, mother and grandmother!!!

I'm sure with KUSD the way they are and how they've been for the last 20 years, if there was even a question about this guy a decade ago we would have seen it on the front page of the KDM guilty or not!
