An Arizona trooper at the scene near mile marker 80 estimated the fire would stall traffic up to five hours as of 4:15 p.m. A firefighter on his way to the scene said he was told that the truck's engine caught fire and the decision was made to let the fuel burn off. He also said the blaze ignited a small brushfire. The driver, he said, escaped injury.

Well, it couldn't be a longer delay than the delay experienced shortly after Christmas near Beal and Hwy 93. We are still waiting for a plausible explanation from Police Chief Devries? I understand the reporters at the KDM have other pressing issues assigned to them like composing the millionth article on gun control in the last month. (Sarcasm intended).
