Saturday's Andy Devine Days Parade in downtown Kingman Saturday morning had 88 entries, including the the High Desert Rattlers cheerleaders, who got caught midair. Below, two youngsters with the Cowboy Church of Mohave County mosey along. The annual festival continues today at the Mohave County Fairgrounds - Cowboy Church is at 7:30 a.m., and gates for the second day of the rodeo open at 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children at the gate.

I am so proud of all of these girls. It is wonderful to see my granddaughter as a cheerleader since I am currently out of town and was unable to make the parade this year.

I am truly disappointed in our news paper I feel when Kingman has special events that there should be a couple of individuals assigned to take pictures and interviews and an entire page or two be dedicated for the event.
