KINGMAN - The Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce has hired Yvonne Woytovich as its new president and chief executive officer, the chamber announced Wednesday.

She brings 15 years of management experience, including seven years as president and CEO of the Hesperia, Calif., Chamber of Commerce.

Woytovich is a 2014 graduate of the U.S. Chamber Foundation Institute of Organization Management and said she believes in being actively involved in the community.

Jamie Taylor, previous chairman of the board at the Kingman Chamber, said Woytovich will bring a new energy and resourcefulness to the Chamber.

@Joker Wilde Your right. If it weren't for CA there wouldn't be as much Kingman. Goodness me. That would mean less crime, less drugs, less problems, less congestion.

hope she leaves the kalif "attitude" in kalif,
and has an open mind , to improve Kingman,
Hesperia had its own troubles, very similar to Kingman, hopefully what she learned from there, can help here.

Hey, Question Here, if it wasn't for California there wouldn't be much of a Kingman. I think Hesperia and Kingman have a lot in common, including many a gloomy Gus. and the new chamber chief will do a great job if Kingman gives her a chance.

Will she want to make us like CA? So many leave CA because they don't like it and then want to make Kingman and Mohave County like California.

Yvonne seems to be an excellent fit for Kingman. Welcome to Mohave County!
