Cleveland man dies at Grand Canyon

Grand Canyon National Park rangers were unable to revive a man after he collapsed on the Bright Angel Trail Tuesday morning.

The man was identified as David Roberts, 72, of Cleveland, Tenn.

Rangers were alerted to a man who had collapsed about 2.5 miles below the rim around 10:45 a.m.

A park EMT responded from a nearby trail rest house and started CPR on Roberts. Additional rangers were flown in, but after an hour of CPR, Roberts was declared dead.

His body was transferred to the Coconino County Medical Examiner, who is investigating the death.

When there's more than one city with the same name, you either refer to it along with its state or you just refer to the state itself. That's journalism 101.
