Bullhead City Police: Watch out for the burros

The Bullhead City Police Department is cautioning drivers to watch out for burros and other wildlife on Bullhead Parkway.

The Bullhead City Dispatch Center has received a number of calls about high burro activity near the Bullhead Parkway and Laughlin Ranch areas. Last year, there were a number of accidents in Bullhead City and greater Mohave County where burros were struck and killed by vehicles.

Bullhead City Public Works staff will be installing signage to remind motorists of the burros on the parkway.

Residents are also urged to not feed the burros or other wildlife, as it draws wild animals to roadways and causes them to stay in these high traffic areas, putting them at risk.

At least they don't have to put up signage to warn people of the least not yet!
Can you imagine if a wolf ever get's run over and killed, all of the wolf lovers will go into mourning, but let a burro get killed and it is ho hum and we thought these people loved all animals.....NOT!

Wow! This is actually a real issue, unlike the "fake" and "false" issues with reintroducing a few wolves.
