PEACH SPRINGS - Grand Canyon West got a taste of high fashion recently during a photo and video shoot on the Grand Canyon Skywalk teasing the upcoming J Autumn Fashion Show, which takes place Nov. 1.

In early September, the creative teams of Grand Canyon Resort Corporation and J Model Management spent a day at the Skywalk for a pre-fashion show multimedia shoot that featured founder Jessica Minh Anh wearing designer clothes and jewelry pieces amidst spectacular views of the Grand Canyon.

"You can't ask for a better backdrop than the Grand Canyon," said Dawnielle Tehama, marketing director for Grand Canyon Resort Corporation. "We are very excited our Grand Canyon Skywalk can be a part of Jessica's unique vision."

Anh is known for setting fashion shows at unusual locations, from the London Tower Bridge in England and a sundeck catwalk at Costa Atlantica in Dubai to a floating catwalk on the Seine River in Paris.

The Grand Canyon West show will premiere haute couture and high-end ready-to-wear collections from more than 20 countries in five continents.

It will be filmed from helicopters and across the bridge and televised worldwide.

Grand Canyon Resort Corp. is owned by the Hualapai Tribe and includes Hualapai Lodge, Hualapai River Runners rafting company and Grand Canyon West, which features the Grand Canyon Skywalk.

It is a glass, horseshoe-shaped bridge that enables visitors to walk beyond the canyon walls, suspending them 4,000 feet above the riverbed and providing a panoramic view of the gorge.

Good Show! Finally, something positive to report from Sky walk. I am very pleased to read a good story instead of all the strife.
Again, Good Show.
