KINGMAN - The woman suspected in last June's arson at the Catch-N-Rayz salon on Airway Avenue was arrested on Tuesday, along with her mother.

Tamara Dawn Douglas, 27, and Toni Ann Nogales, 50, were taken into custody by Kingman police investigators at about 12:30 p.m. at a business in the 200 block of Andy Devine Avenue.

According to police spokeswoman Jennifer Sochocki, investigators observed Douglas, who has been a fugitive since late last summer, enter the business and took her into custody without incident.

Nogales, the owner of the salon located at Airway Avenue and Willow Road and Douglas' mother, was also taken into custody and charged with felony hindering prosecution.

Nogales, according to Sochocki, was contacted last September and advised there was a felony warrant for her daughter's arrest and that she should advise her to surrender to authorities.
