A 78-year-old Fort Mohave man proved you're never too old to get in serious trouble with the law.
Donald Gene Sanders was pulled over Monday night and immediately taken into custody for driving on a suspended license plate due to a lack of insurance.
Inside his vehicle was an open bottle of rum, but what was allegedly inside Sanders' sock is what got him into serious trouble: 29 grams of methamphetamine.
Sanders complained of a medical issue during the booking process and he was transported to Valley View Medical Center, where hospital staff allegedly found another plastic bag containing meth.
He was charged with felony possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs in a school zone, transporting dangerous drugs and promoting contraband into a correction facility.
