Correction: Clarification: The name of Melissa Marie Braun, 21, was inadvertently cut from the story. She was arrested and charged with felony possession of drug paraphernalia and a misdemeanor probation violation warrant issued by Kingman Municipal Court.

KINGMAN - Five adults were arrested Friday and five children were in the custody of the state following a drug investigation conducted by detectives with the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team and other law enforcement officers.

MAGNET served a search warrant at a home in the 1900 block of Roland Court regarding suspected illegal drug activity.

The suspects, all of Kingman, face a host of charges.

Chad Kawika Bagano, 20, was arrested on a felony fugitive from justice warrant issued by the Arizona Department of Corrections on an original charge of aggravated domestic violence, along with misdemeanor warrants issued by Kingman Justice and Municipal courts, for probation violation and contempt of court, respectively.

Darlean Marie Burley, 40, was charged with felony possession of drug paraphernalia. There was also a misdemeanor probation violation warrant issued by Kingman Municipal Court.

Halie Makenzie Darlington, 21, was charged with felony taking the identity of another and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, along with a misdemeanor probation violation warrant issued by Kingman Municipal Court.

Shawn Maxwell Marcus, 21, was arrested on a felony charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said they also found a small amount of marijuana in the home and different types of paraphernalia used in the consumption of marijuana, methamphetamine and heroin.

There were two children in the home when the warrant was served. Workers from the Arizona Division of Child Safety and Family Services took custody of two children prior to the search. Three more were at school at the time. All of them are in the custody of the division.

The five adults were taken into custody without incident.
