KINGMAN - The Mohave County Grand Jury indicted a Kingman man who was arrested May 15 following a yearlong investigation into a residential burglary that yielded the thieves guns and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Alleged DNA evidence reportedly led Kingman Police detectives to Jason Kelly Carmody, 39, who was arrested downtown on Beale Street and charged with three felonies.

Grand jurors returned an indictment of 10 felonies, including one count of first-degree burglary, one count of theft (class 2 felony), four counts of theft (class 6 felony) and four counts of misconduct involving weapons.

Carmody and others allegedly burglarized a home in the area of Western Avenue and Riata Valley more than a year earlier. He denies any involvement in the crime and the investigation into the alleged accomplices continues.

Commissioner Kenneth Gregory will arraign Carmody at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the jail. Judge Derek Carlisle was assigned the case.

Gregory will conduct arraignments at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the jail unless otherwise noted.

The grand jury also indicted:

• Justin Lee Newton and Raymond E. Murphy Jr.: Two counts of aggravated assault.

Judge Rick Williams was assigned the case.

• Shawn Mark Ramey: Possession of narcotics for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of dangerous drugs for sale (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia (methamphetamine).

Judge Steven Conn was assigned the case.

• Timothy Laine Morgan: Aggravated DUI, aggravated DUI with drug in system and two counts of aggravated assault.

Carlisle will arraign him at 1:30 p.m. June 4.

• Martin Nungaray: Leave accident scene with injury or death.

Williams will arraign him at 8:30 a.m. Friday.

• Cameron Michael Anderson: One count of aggravated assault (class 3 felony), two counts of aggravated assault (class 6 felony), and kidnapping.

Williams was assigned the case.

• Evan Robert Newmiller: Third-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, possession of dangerous drugs (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia (methamphetamine).

Carlisle will arraign him at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

• Denise Janisann Sisson: Theft.

Carlisle will arraign her at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

• Dylan Michael Simmons: Unlawful use of transportation, criminal damage, possession of drug paraphernalia and DUI (misdemeanor).

Carlisle was assigned the case.

• James Earl Beck: Second-degree burglary.

He was arraigned Friday. The grand jury arraignment schedule does not list a judge.

• Daniel William Kennedy: Third degree burglary, aggravated criminal damage and first-degree criminal trespass.

Williams was assigned the case.

• Timothy David Gohl: Second-degree burglary, aggravated assault by domestic violence (class 4 felony), aggravated assault by domestic violence (class 6 felony) and aggravated domestic violence.

Carlisle was assigned the case.

• Remmington Perrault: Possession of dangerous drugs (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Williams will arraign him at 8:30 a.m. Friday.

• Huey Pete Robinson III and Keith Isaac Ates: Transportation of marijuana for sale (more than two pounds), possession of marijuana for sale (more than four pounds) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Carlisle was assigned the cases. He will arraign Ates at 8:30 a.m. Thursday and Robinson will be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the jail.

• Gary Reed Turner: Misconduct involving weapons, disorderly conduct involving a weapon and aggravated assault.

Carlisle will arraign him at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

Raymon Anthony Flores: Possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Carlisle was assigned the case.
