Stolen motorcycle wrecked

A Dolan Springs man was hospitalized after he was thrown from a reportedly stolen motorcycle during a car accident last week.

Deputies with the Mohave County Sheriff's Office responded to the two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Pierce Ferry Road at 16th Street just after 7 p.m. Friday.

Anthony Michael Ewing, 23, was driving a 1999 Suzuki motorcycle when he ran a stop sign and struck the passenger side of a van, said sheriff's spokeswoman Trish Carter.

Ewing was airlifted to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas with non-life-threatening injuries. The occupants in the van were not injured.

The motorcycle was reported stolen from Santa Cruz, Calif., Carter said. Theft charges are pending out of California.

Carter said Ewing faces local charges for driving with a suspended license.

Aha yeah um first of all this article is wrong! The accident was around 5 30 p.m for one! For two, the bike IS NOT stolen! His bike is a 1996 and has been ran through the system multiple times to see if its stolen!

Another example of a stupid criminal. Kudos buddy, hope you make it out ok and end up in California's prison system, so we don't have to support you.
