Police search for ex-officer who threatened rampage

LOS ANGELES (AP) - The manhunt for a disgruntled former Los Angeles police officer wanted in three killings is expanding.

A U.S. Marshals Service official says the search for Christopher Dorner has spread from California to Nevada, Arizona and Mexico.

The official spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity Thursday because the official was not authorized to comment publicly on the investigation.

Dorner is suspected of killing a former police captain's daughter, her fiance and a Riverside officer. He's also suspected of wounding two other officers.

Police said he warned in an online posting that he would target those on the force who wronged him.

Police were sent to protect people named in the posting that was believed to be written by Dorner, who has military training. Among those mentioned were members of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Dorner was fired from the LAPD in 2008 for making false statements.

Here we go again
evidently you don't have a TV as his mug has been on every channel.
Of course like OJ some are making a hero out of him even tho he is a proven killer.
Hopefully there will be a shoot out and this guy is not taken alive as it will be years of litigation and hours of wasted TV time if they capture him alive.
