GRAND CANYON - Park Rangers recently recovered skeletal human remains from the Hermit Creek drainage inside Grand Canyon National Park, which they believe might be those of a Tucson man who disappeared in 2010.
The Coconino County Medical Examiner confirmed the remains were human, according to the Park Service.
Rangers believe that abandoned camping gear found near the remains belongs to the Tucson man, whom they did not identify.
DNA testing is being done to make a positive identification, according to the Park Service.
