We saw a car verse truck accident just like this one at the same intersection a few months back. A young boy was riding towards the park and a truck was making a right hand turn towards AAA. The boy just stood up and tried to get back on his back, in shock from the events. The driver got out to make sure the child was okay and let him ride away. Something needs to be done at this intersection. Putting the stop light in was great, but not enough. My prayers go out to all involved in this.

We need to hurry and get that Traffic Circle built to alleviate all these traffic incidents in that area! "Sarcasm Off"!

I am almost shocked this isnt more common. Kingman has terrible congestion along Stockton Hill road. No provisions for bicycle commuters at all. Best yet is the kids/adults catch heat for being on the sidewalk. Could you imagine sharing the road with the drivers of this town? In a monsoon? COULD YOU? NO! is the answer any reasonable person would give. I hope the person on the bike is okay.
*btw... last I knew a 20" bicycle is considered a "safety bike" and completely legit for sidewalk useage....
