They also entered a float called “Team Meriwether – Chris and Butch,” which won the regatta’s Best Overall Decorated Float trophy and the second-place Decorated Super Team Float award. More than 50 people tethered themselves to the float, and Maddog Fitness’ team floated along for the ceremony.

Golden Valley residents Butch Meriwether and Chris Marie were married during the 2012 Bullhead City River Regatta, apparently making them the first couple to get hitched while floating down the Colorado River during the annual event.

Sounds like a lot of fun. I have always wanted to do the Bullhead City River Regatta, but I don't think anyone (I know) who would want to do it. Congrats to the couple.
