Pvt. Alexa Docken-Chandler

Pvt. Alexa Docken-Chandler graduated from Army basic training on Sept. 19 at Ft. Jackson, S.C. She will complete her advanced training at Ft. Lee, Va. We thank you for your service and dedication to serve your country.

Army Pvt. Justin L. Morey has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C. During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition, core values and physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, the military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches and field training exercises. Morey is the son of Jennifer Shaw of Huntington Beach, Calif., and grandson of Ervita Finn of Golden Valley. He is a 2007 graduate of River Valley High School in Mohave Valley.
