Obama Set to Pack D. C. Court of Appeals
Obama Set to Pack DC Circuit Court of Appeals with Liberal Activists.
Some might recall when President Obama illegally declared Congress closed so as to make controversial "recess" appointments without them, last January. It was the DC Circuit Court of Appeals that unanimously struck his appointments down.
We can assume he was not only embarrassed but mad, since the court currently has four Democrats and four Republicans - but the decision was unanimous.
It looks like payback time is coming. Rather than just follow the law, this narcissistic man wants this "perceived" wrong to him righted, . so instead of working within the system, he again is going to try to change the rules to his own advantage.
The D. C. Circuit Court of Appeals is considered the second most important court next to the Supreme Court. While it does hear most of the executive rules and regulations cases, it is very balanced and has a small docket of cases which is going down each year. Three of their 11 seats are vacant but filling them is only an emergency to Obama, whose plan is to put in activist liberals to help complete his radical agenda.
Obama's new plan is to change the rules on judicial confimations which would require Majority Leader Harry Reid to find 51 Senators willing to lower the threshold. Even some Democrats are worried about doing this as they may not always be in control of the Senate and it could backfire on them.
This one is certainly worth watching. Some absolutely crazy court decisions have been made in the last few years by radical leftist liberal judges. Rather than being a man about it and accepting that he got caught with his illegal recess appointments, Obama, as usual, does not like to be told what he did wrong.
