WikiLeaks Dump Vindicated Bush and WMD's in Iraq

WikiLeaks Vindicated Bush and WMD in Iraq

Apparently, the press missed this important story. No, they didn't miss it. As they always do, anything that makes Obama look bad or George Bush look good, they simply don't print.

Over a year ago, Larry Elder reported on Townhall.com concerning what was revealed in the WikiLeaks dump.

In 2003 , President Bush said in the State of the Union address that, "The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa."

And WikiLeaks defacto declassification of privileged material makes it case closed - and true. Hussein possessed weapons of mass destruction and intended to restart his program once the heat was off.

Former Ambassador Joe Wilson had gone to Africa to investigate, returned saying he found the statement without merit. Wilson implied Cheney had sent him when in fact, his CIA-employed wife had sent him. And he lied.

The Brits stood by the claim, as did the anti-Bush Washington Post as they had discovered Wilson had told the CIA the exact opposite.

Bush's exact claim was that Iraq sought uranium, specifically yellowcake, the seed material for higher-grade nuclear enrichment. It can be enriched for use in reactors and, at higher levels, nuclear weapons using sophisticated equipment.

Time had a field day with Bush, entitling one article "Is a fib really a fib if the teller is unaware that he is uttering an untruth?" Time went on to say how Bush had told a falsehood. Has Time ever corrected their headline? Hell no.

They then went on about Joe Wilson, The Man Who Told the Truth to Power.

Never mind that the bipartisan Senate Intel Committee had stated Wilson's report "lent more credibility to the original CIA reports on the uranium deal."

Amazing, isn't it, how much damage the liberal press does when they simply refuse to print stories that don't favor their lies or their man.

Time blathered on - no yellowcake, therefore no WMD's, therefore no "grave and gathering threat".

But there was yellowcake, lots of it. Noah Shachtman, non-resident fellow at the liberal Brookings Institute researched the 400,000 leaked documents and discovered that for years afterward, U.S. troops continued to find chemical weapons labs, encounter insurgent specs in toxins and uncover WMD ... and especially chemical weapons on the Iraqi battlefield.

Remnants of Saddam's toxic arsenal remained and there was evidence of other countries, possible Iran, coming into Iraq to help themselves and make their own deadly agents.

In 2008, our military shipped out on 37 flights in 3,500 barrels the last of what the AP called the major remnants of Hussein's nuclear program - 550 METRIC TONS OF YELLOWCAKE.

To get around reporting the truth, the liberals in the press simply decided to no longer consider yellowcake WMD. On top of that it was, well, old...maybe degraded. Not what they expected the military would find. Didn't look like WMD.

Then-Democrat National Chairman Howard Dean ignored the truth and said there were no WMDs found. Maddow insisted there was overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Certain liberals posting in the Miner, in spite of one poster directing them to actual pictures, still insist there were no WMDs. A terrible injustice has been done to President Bush all these years.

He could target people like Obama does, but being the gentleman that he is, he has simply endured the lies and kept quiet.

I am still getting the best chuckle out of this. LiJiAma is getting facts that prove her claim wrong literally thrown at her from all sides and is still trying to stand by her claim, and coming up with new "facts" out of the blue. Gotta love determination, no matter how misguided it may be.

“2008 and 2010 the Scout reported. But you know how those Army Scouts lie.”

No, I am not familiar with how Army scouts lie and wonder how you are so familiar with how they lie.

HOWEVER, what I do know is that The Criminal’s ISG spent two years and millions of taxpayer dollars to prove the lying little weasel was correct about there being WMD in Iraq and after two years they had to admit there were none. Why do you refuse to accept that report? You can post all of the apocryphal nonsense and little stories from God knows where that you want and it will not change the fact – there were no WMD found in Iraq!

Yahoo.com reported this from an Army scout.

>>We actually found 1,000s of tons of WMD's in Iraq. My battalion alone uncovered a large cache of chemical weapons in 2008. In 2010 we uncovered a SCUD west of Basrah that tested positive for a chemical warhead.

The only thing we didn't find was any nuclear weapons. Although we did find over 500 tons of enriched yellow cake uranium which is a primary ingredient in making them.<<US Army Scout

“@ A N. i really like how you keep calling names on bush, the criminal.”

Thank you. I am pleased that you also recognize the criminal status of the lying little weasel.

“Obama didn't get caught and arrested so he is not.”

That is true. Thank you for recognizing that point as well.

I am slightly confused by your comments. The Criminal is a convicted drunk driver and Obama has never been convicted of anything. What is your point?

Ms Athens

“Uh, the left wing AP reported it. Good enough for you or did they lie too?”

Ms Athens, if the supposed “left wing” AP reported it, why in the world have you chosen to believe it? However, let’s examine the facts of the ENTIRE story, not just the trash you gleaned from some right wing website that the material removed was in some way associated with WMD.

In July 2008, the U.S. government announced that it had completed the secret removal of 550 metric tons of yellowcake from the Tuwaitha Nuclear Research Center in Iraq.

The yellowcake removed was material that had long since been identified, documented, and stored in sealed containers under the supervision of U.N. inspectors. It was not a "secret" cache that was recently "discovered" by the U.S, and the yellowcake had not been purchased by Iraq in the years immediately preceding the 2003 invasion. THE URANIUM WAS THE REMNANTS OF DECADES-OLD NUCLEAR REACTOR PROJECTS THAT HAD PUT OUT OF COMMISSION MANY YEARS EARLIER, as far back as an Israeli bombing in 1981.

So once again you have been prove wrong and I am still curious as to why you will not acknowledge the findings of The Criminal’s ISG team that after two years of invstigation reported there were no WMD in Iraq, despite what the lying little weasel told the American people?

Next!

"Who is LiJiAma? I see no such comment with that name"

That stands for Linda, Jimi, and Amaryllis. After all, they are the same person posting under three names. I use the one so I don't get confused.

I guess you have to admire LiJiAma's dogged determination. Even when confronted with facts, she still continues to claim the falsehood is correct.

“JUST AS I SAID,…”

As has been pointed out numerous times your saying something in no way is indicative of the truth or facts.

“You are wrong of course but that is undoubtedly what Media Matters told you to say that day.”

No, The Criminals ISG told us there were no WMD. Why do you refuse to recognize that?

“If it was worthless, you sure have to wonder why we bothered using all those planes and men and time to fly it all out of Iraq, don't you?”

What was flown out? When? By whom? Oh, wait, I forgot it never happened so you cannot provide any facts.

Jason:

JUST AS I SAID, you libs way of getting around the truth is to say the yellowcake was either no longer considered WMD or to say it was old, not usable, blah blah blah.

You are wrong of course but that is undoubtedly what Media Matters told you to say that day.

If it was worthless, you sure have to wonder why we bothered using all those planes and men and time to fly it all out of Iraq, don't you?

But don't let reasoning stand in the way of your remarks.

"WikiLeaks Dump Vindicated Bush and WMD's in Iraq"

I guess if you keep saying it you may end up convincing one or two people. However, since you continue to use non-creditable sources, you just keep making yourself look bad and desperate. WikiLeaks is not creditable, it is a publicly edited by just about any anonymous source. How can you rely on something as open to editing and manipulation as Wikileaks.

You are way behind, and still wrong. You are talking about Yellowcake leftovers that were already known by the whole world to exist. And the rest of your argument was shot down shortly after this information from Wikileaks was released. What they did find was old, worn out, unusable material from long, long, long ago. There is nothing new in what you wrote. Read more about your big Yellocake revelation at Snopes and factcheck.og.

“Certain liberals posting in the Miner, in spite of one poster directing them to actual pictures, still insist there were no WMDs.”

I find it interesting that you absolutely refuse to recognize the data from The Criminals own ISG team that spent two years (2003/2005) attempting to prove the lying little weasel was right about WMD and finally had to admit there ware none. All they found were 53 barrels of outdated chemicals given to Sadam by Ronald the Dim in the early 90s.
