One More Administration Scandal Emerges

 Linda Athens

One More Scandal - This Time With HHS Secretary Sebelius

Congress has denied Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius funds to implement Obamacare so she has taken matters into her own hands. She is asking health industry officials, the very industry she regulates, to donate millions to do so.

This is not only unusual, it appears to be against the law. That would be because Congress handles the purse strings for our country, not Kathleen Sebelius and she has been repeatedly turned down by Congress, therefore she cannot ignore their turn down and solicit money on her own.

Sebelius has also pushed community organizations and church groups to donate to nonprofit groups working to enroll uninsured Americans.

This is akin to Congress being in session but Obama declaring they were not so he could bypass them to put in controversial people connected with his favorite labor unions.

Apparently Obamacare isn't really a carefully crafted program with all it's ducks in a row. It's a haphazard, shoved-through-in-the-middle-of-the-night-while-no-one-read-it jumble of words that are not even understandable. And funding to implement it? I thought it was going to save everyone money in every way. But there isn't enough money to even implement it? That, for me, would be very good news.

Oops, I apologize for the error and kudos for being at the head of the line.

“www.spectator.org article by Betsy McCaughey.”

Two points 1) spectator.org s a vehemently right wing group and 2) Ms McCaughey is a shill of the medical insurance industry that has been caught in more lies than… well, you know who.

“Ms. Athens, don't respond to the haters here.”

It is always interesting when those searching for the truth are called “haters.”

To vote in the federal election of 1960 one had to be 21 years old.

It's not just AN and NC. The problem is..people might actually read and believe the stuff she is stating as fact, when it's obviously.....well...junk?

“I don't understand why Anson's Nephew and Nice Chuckle continue to indulge Ms. Athens rants. If the two of you stopped commenting on her blogs, she'd just be talking to herself.”

Unfortunately there are many who believe the nattering nonsense Ms Athens posts (as evidenced by the positive responses to her error filled rants). I plan to always be here to challenge the misinformation she posts day after day – including attempting to fool people into thinking an 18 year (which she wasn’t according to her own words) could vote for JFK in 1960.

The ultimate danger with such people is that when they are allowed to spew nonsense they go deeper and deeper into the darkness of misinformation. Which explains why Ms Athens will “promise” to respond to questions – but never does because she no facts to back up her assertions.

Sebelius, aka the IceQueen, is now pouring taxpayer dollars into Enroll America, not illegal, but its board of directors is made up of Insurers and hospital organizations that will benefit from enrolling millions of people in Obamacare.

Apparently, it's all right with the windbaggers that this regime is in bed with Big Insurance and Big Healthcare.

Actually, LiJiAma is right. I mentioned it on the post she made it on, the one about Ogalalla. Long before anybody else mentioned it. She is just now answering it most likely because it took time to try to come up with another lie to cover the first one though.

"How about those top 20 donors to Romney that he had the IRS target, called half of them criminals and had them audited over and over again to scare any Republican donor from giving again."

I think the IRS got that right! Hurts when they call a "Spade a Spade" doesn't it.

@AN...yeah, I calculated from LA's statement last year of her high school graduation date that she was then about 68 years of age, born around 1945. Since John Kennedy ran for President in 1960, that would have made her around 15 years of age - certainly not over 16 years of age by voting in November of that year. Actually, we have nearly 5 years leeway here, don't we?

The Remember Cairo blog is gone.

I have no clue what you said on it nor do I care. In all your time stalking me on here, I have yet to see one thing I posted that you actually corrected so I won't waste any more time on the possibility you might swerve into truth someday.

You target me as a diversionary tactic so you don't have to face the truth about Obama that I post over and over. There are FIVE SCANDALS NOW GOING. Where are YOUR comments on them?

Ms Athens

“No, the election was November, 1960 and I had been 18, which is the voting age in AZ for half a year.”

Why do you make this so easy? The voting age in Arizona in 1960 was 21. Arizona did not lower their voting age until the passage of the 26th Amendment and they were the 29th state to ratify that amendment on 14 May 1971. Prior to that time there were only four states (Georgia, Kentucky, Alaska and Hawaii) that had a lower than 21 age for voting.

“… 1937 to 1960 is about 23 years, is it not? Your math sucks.”

What does 1937 have to do with anything? N.C. mentioned that in order to be old enough to vote in 1960 one would have had have been born in 1939 (see your “Remember Cairo…” blog post).

And you could not have been 18 because you have consistently told us that you were born in 1944 and are now 69 years old. Or did you falsify that information as well?

"The JFK lie is what? That I needed to be born in 1937 to have voted for him? No, the election was November, 1960 and I had been 18, which is the voting age in AZ for half a year."

Nice try at deflecting. At 69, which is how old you say you are, your words, you still would not have been 18 in 1960. Nice try, thanks for playing. You lose again.

“First, it was Chuckles who mentioned a lie, not you. Oops! Who is lying now?”

Actually if you will check your “Remember Cairo…” blog (search at the upper right) you will see that I not only mentioned the “you voted for JFK” lie but many others prior to N.C. mentioning it (14 May) . So, once again – you are not being thruthful.

“And I don't know what lie you and your friend are speaking about unless you/he posted it and I missed it.”

Once again, go to your “Remember Cairo …” blog posting and you will see the MANY lies that I challenged you about on 14 May.

So, with that settled are you now going to answer as you promised, or keep on spinning? You can address each in turn if you wish or you can start with the BIG one about voting for JFK (which you did not) while carrying an infant on your hip at the age of 16.

The JFK lie is what? That I needed to be born in 1937 to have voted for him? No, the election was November, 1960 and I had been 18, which is the voting age in AZ for half a year.

1937 to 1960 is about 23 years, is it not? Your math sucks.

I distinctly remember voting since it was my first time. So the only lies to do with JFK were his own which turned out to be many (Judith Exner, Marilyn Monroe, Cuban Missile Crisis, etc).

So what do you think about the other liar who puts even JFK who turned the White House into a whore house, to shame?

There are five current scandals not even counting all the others I have uncovered. Pretty cool, tapping into Fox News's Rosen's personal emails huh? Can we say banana republic?

Nixon couldn't hold a candle to this sleeze bag. Every single government agency under his watch is corrupt to the max starting with the DOJ. There is OOOHHHH so much more that hasn't even been tapped into.

Amazing how President sleaze bag acts like he had NOTHING to do with all the scandals when we know he was the one behind them all. He just read it in the newspaper like everyone else. Sure he did.

How about those top 20 donors to Romney that he had the IRS target, called half of them criminals and had them audited over and over again to scare any Republican donor from giving again.

You want to talk throwing an election? START THERE!!
