Joe H. Schelcher

Joe H. Schelcher, a 94-year-old World War II veteran, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, in Kingman. He was born Jan. 18, 1918, in San Antonio, Texas.

Joe and his family moved to Kingman in 1983 after retiring from an Air Force career of 20 years.

He is survived by his daughter, Jean Williams; his son, Joseph Schelcher; two grandchildren and many friends.

Joe will be sorely missed.

My condolences to Joe"s family he was a very sweet pleasant man I enjoyed seeing him in the store where I worked. He will be missed but not forgotten.

My condolences go out to Joe's family. I had the pleasure of working at a business in town where I was able to see him a few times a week. He was always a joy to wait on and he always had a joke (never dirty). You will be missed Joe by the people you had contact with and touched their souls.
