Judith Arlene "Judee" Bianco, 72, lost her courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, June 27, 2013. Judee was born March 15, 1941 in Broadwater, Neb.
Her family eventually moved to Fort Collins, Colo., where Judee graduated from high school. She married her true love, Vince Bianco, on May 4, 1963. They lived in a number of western states throughout their marriage including Idaho, New Mexico, Nevada and Colorado, and finally retired in Kingman. While putting herself through school, Judee earned a bachelors degree from Colorado State University and and a masters degree in social work from the University of Denver in 1978. Judee was a social worker for 33 years and worked in child welfare, schools and hospitals. She brought true dedication to her work and spent countless hours making a difference in the lives of those she served.
In May, Judee and Vince celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a wonderful party given by their daughter, Andrea, and attended by family and friends.
Judee is survived by her husband, Vince Bianco of Kingman; her son, Vince (Toni) Bianco of Santa Cruz, Calif.; her daughter, Andrea Bianco and friend, Paul, of Toronto, Canada; and four granddaughters, Brooke, Dana and Julia of Santa Cruz, and Arielle of Toronto. Also surviving is her sister, Karen Meike of Casper, Wyo., and special in-laws, Kay New, Laura (Donald) West and Marianne (John) Hult. She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Mildred and Ted Messick; her father, Clifford Middleton; her sister, Glenda Hanson; and her brother, Frank Middleton.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
