Obituary: Katherine Aldridge
Katherine Aldridge
Katherine Aldridge

Our amazing mother, Katherine (Kay), finally found peace on Sunday, Aug. 4. She was born in Hobart, Okla. She spent most of her early years in California. After she married her husband, they spent the next 30 years traveling the world on the military's dime. She finally made Kingman her home in 1998.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; her daughter, Barbara; and her two sons, Roy and Dennis. She leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law, Anna and (Ret.) CSM Leo Usry of Alabama; her son and daughter-in-law, John and Tami of Kingman; a sister, Martha Mae of Kingman; her sister-in-law, Josefine Aldridge of Downey, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

There will be a private viewing for family from 2 to 2:30 p.m. tomorrow August 8, 2013, and for friends from 2:30 to 3 p.m. Following the viewing, services will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home.

Then burial services will be held at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, Calif., at a later date.
