Pop, I miss you. I am so sorry that we parted after Carl and I separated. I was such a young mother and didn't have my mom to show me the way. Looking back, I see how you tried, but I was so young with so many sons and I felt so rejected and so alone. But I promise you this, Pop, If I'd have known then what I know now, much would be so different. Thank you for giving me your son Carl so many years ago. He was my very first love and he gave me the most beautiful sons any woman could ever ask for. And one of them has given you two great grandchildren. Pop, my mom passed away only one year after you and I miss her so much. I think of you a lot too, and I think of Carl and George and Tash, Diane and Courtney, and I can't help but feel the pain that they continue dealing with since you've gone. You are very much loved and missed, such an amazing man and so full of life. <3
