Obituary: Betty L. Campbell

Betty L. Campbell, 62, a former resident of Kingman, a well-rounded woman, mentor, friend, wife, mother and a terrific grandmother of Las Vegas, passed away June 1, 2012. She was born Sept. 11, 1949, in Warren, Ohio, and had been a resident of Nevada since 1995.

Betty is survived by her devoted husband, Bob Campbell; her loving children, Rebeccah Randles and Jim Shoemaker; her only grandchild, Brooke Randles; her father and mother in-law, Richard and Ora Campbell; and so many other family members, co-workers, and friends. To know Betty is to love her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Emma Lamanna; and several loving aunts and uncles.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89146. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at your local American Cancer Society in honor of Betty's battle with breast cancer.

Betty, you are one of the ones now that we add to the list when we say, "it aint been right since that persons Been gone". Well, its true and we miss you. We love you and yes, it just has not been right since you have been gone..

Today...I started to miss you Betty on my way to work you popped into my mind and tears came rolling down...you were the kindess co-worker I ever had! always smiling and making your little comments :) I wished I could've said my good-byes or just seen you one last time. But you will exsist only in my memory...my condolences to Betty's family & friends.
