We were deeply saddened to learn of George's death and extend our deepest and most heartfelt sympathy.
George was a wonderful, smart, honest and hard-working man who was always ready to help anyone he could. He had a zest for life, and despite his age, continued to amaze us with his energy and stamina.
He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife, Betty, and by all who knew and loved him during his life. We will pray for strength during this most sad and difficult time.
Here are two comments we read somewhere and we hope they bring comfort--
"Angels greeted the newcomer with open arms and heaven got a lot nicer." And, we know heaven is nicer with George there.
And, "Wherever a beautiful soul has been there is a trail of beautiful memories." May beautiful memories of George help to heal the hole in your hearts and bring comfort during the days ahead.
May he rest in the love and peace of the Lord!

Places where some of my memories were made. They are Lamon Ave. Methodist Church, our 4th of July parties on Lake St, Sundays at Cedar Lake, shopping on Maxwell St, endless card playing, antique shopping, sight seeing in St. Louis, He could tell a good story too. These are the memories that I will treasure. You will be missed!
May my dad rest in peace.
