Updated Obituary: Melba Kleefisch

Melba Kleefisch passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 16, at Kingman Regional Medical Center, due to complications with her treatment for cancer. Melba was born Sept. 6, 1945, in Chicago.

She resided in the Chicago area most her life, moving to the Kingman area in 2008. Melba enjoyed concerts, dinner with friends and family, and was a great organizer of garage sales. She will be truly missed!

Melba is survived by her mother, Margaret Esposito of Kingman; two children, Jason of Lake Havasu City and Tracy of Tampa, Fla.; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 25, at Praise Chapel, 419 Harrison St., Kingman.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in Melba's memory to the charity of your choice.

My deepest condolences to Melba's family. She was the sweetest lady. The comfort I take from this is that she is no longer suffering that cruel cancer that she had. Melba you will be truly missed by many. We are even going to miss your AMAZING snowflake cookies! Watch over us from above. RIP my friend. I am thankful for getting the opportunity to know you. Just wish it was under better circumstances! We truly will miss your smiling face!
