KINGMAN - The Kingman U11 Red Racers soccer team captured their third championship in 2013 this past Saturday and Sunday.

They participated in the Soccer at the Summit tournament, a two-day event held in Flagstaff. Kingman's bracket consisted of eight teams, mostly from the Phoenix area.

Day one, The Red Racers beat the CCV Stars 3-0, followed by a 5-1 win over Phoenix Premier.

Day two, Kingman beat San Tan SC 6-0 to advance to the championship game against Ahwattukee Soccer Club. That game ended with a 3-3 draw, but the Red Racers won the penalty shootout 4-3 to win the title.
