Anthem Boulder Creek's Jeffery Castanda knocked his third goal of the night in the 77th minute to break a 4-4 tie to hand Boulder Creek a 5-4 win Thursday over Kingman High.

Castanda's first goal came in the 35th minute to tie the match up at 2-2 and then added his second in the 49th minute to give Anthem a 3-2 lead.

KHS went up 2-0 after Taylor Ferrin got the assist from Bret Sipe in the 13th minute. Jay McNiven tied it at 3-3 in the 53rd minute and Adrain Dornburg tied it at 4-4 in the 64th minute.

"I think it was a great game. I think it was an awesome game. That was my favorite game of the year so far," said KHS coach Kevin Wilkerson.

Bulldog keeper Alex Peterson stopped 25 shots as Boulder Creek had 30 shots on goal while KHS had 15 shots on goal.

KHS (2-10-1) looked to avenge an earlier loss in the week to Bullhead City Mohave on Saturday. The Bulldogs will host Lake Havasu at 1 p.m. on Monday and will close out the season Tuesday at Flagstaff Coconino.
