KINGMAN - Ridgeview Dental jumped out to a 10-run lead with six scored in the first and four in third, and then held off A-1 Property Tax Consultants in a Kingman Softball Association Coed C-1 match-up Thursday at Centennial Park, 15-7.
The win by Ridgeview combined with an 18-11 win by the KRMC Renegades over the Mudheads the same day has the division in a three-way tie for first. Ridgeview, A-1 and KRMC are all 3-1.
Trailing 10-0, A-1 finally got on the board in the top of the fourth with four runs, but Ridgeview answered that challenge with a three-run fourth of its own. A-1 bounced back again, scoring three more in the fourth but could not manage any more runs the rest of the way.
Ridgeview's Chris Borgens, Nick Bowers, Ryan Walsh, and Justin Walsh each had three base hits. Bowers scored three runs to lead Ridgeview. Lane Nielson, Tiffany Hunter and Kathy Wintergerst finished with two hits, and Natalie Borgens had one.
For A-1, Monica Murphy, Tony Campbell, Shane Whalen and Bonnie Lee each had two hits. Murphy led A-1 with two runs scored. Misha Esquibel, Darcy Holland, John Hutchins, Mark Esquibel, Laci Robbins and John Jenkins each had a base hit.
