Kingman Photos: The Long And Winding Mural

El Trovatore Motel owners Sam and Monica Frisher had murals painted on their motel recently, which took almost a month. They believe their motel now has the longest Route 66-themed mural in the world. The hotel, one of a handful of pre-World War II properties still standing along the historic highway, opened in 1937 as a gas station.

I would so much like to see this new enterprise succeed! We need more private citizens with a sense of Kingman/66 pride involved in bringing our city up to date and prosperous again.
For years I've thought tour buses were the right way to go - not historical Walks! Who wants to walk all over town with a map in hand?
Good Luck in this Venture!!!

Looks great (even better in person)!

Sure would like to see more buildings (especially downtown) get dressed up in the Route 66 spirit.

Both Stockton Hill shopping centers & the downtown area would look fantastic lit up at Christmastime too. Downtown would look amazing with all those old buildings decorated.

Great job, Sam & Monica!
