KINGMAN - In more than 32 years as a resident of Kingman, Pat Lonnon-Lewis has made a mark in business.

Lonnon-Lewis, who was nominated by Paul Lewis, has been an integral part of the success and growth of Uptown Drug, where she is a partner and pharmacist. Lewis said she has spent many hours planning and implementing new ideas and programs to serve the drug store's customers. Also, she has handled the store's financial affairs and personnel training, and has written policy and procedure for the business.

But Lonnon-Lewis is more than just business, said Lewis. She has coordinated learning programs for gifted students through the school district with local instructors and artisans as part of Super Saturdays, and has helped organize and direct the Odyssey of the Mind program.

She also served as a chaperone for two years for Kingman Girls Basketball teams.

Also, Lonnon-Lewis has helped design and sew costumes for numerous drama productions at the middle- and high-school levels. She is actively involved in church choir as a singer and part-time conductor, is a member of the church worship team and plays the clavinova every Sunday.

Paul you did great nominating Pat. No finer woman deserves this recognition more than Pat. And with the additional information about her in the article, Kingman is fortunate to have a person of her caliber in our midst.
