Physician residents from Kingman Regional Medical Center performed sports physicals in Golden Valley recently.
On Aug. 2, physician residents from the Kingman Regional Medical Center's Family Medicine Residency Clinic provided free sports physicals to 40 students at Black Mountain School in Golden Valley.
The residents provided the students with physicals as well as education on health, nutrition and sports injury prevention.
In 2005, KRMC became the first rural teaching hospital in Arizona. Since then, scores of osteopathic residents and medical students have achieved their educational goals through our graduate medical education program.
The program includes the Emergency Medicine Residency Program, the Family Medicine Residency Program and Medical Student Externships.
It is affiliated with the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine of Midwestern University and accredited by the American Osteopathic Association.
