VFW 2555 member Don Johnson cuts the ribbon at the submarine memorial dedication Saturday at the Golden Valley VFW. The memorial developed largely through the efforts of Johnson and his son Dale. Quinten Seiler, 95, who started serving on submarines in 1938, was present along with state Sen. Kelli Ward, state Rep. Sonny Borrelli, state House Majority Leader David M. Gowan Sr., Kingman Mayor Janet Watson and District 4 Supervisor Jean Bishop. Visitors are invited to look over the memorial. The Golden Valley VFW is located at 6068 Supai Road.
