Public invited to hear a piece of Mohave County history

Author and historian Dennis Casebier will tell the story of the Mojave Road at 5 p.m. Monday at the Colorado River Museum, 2201 Highway 68.

The public is invited at no charge.

The Mojave Road from Bullhead City to southern California has been traveled for centuries - first by Native Americans seeking trade with coastal tribes, then by Spanish explorers, followed by covered wagons with Americans seeking new opportunities, and finally by adventurers in 4x4s reliving the past.
