Noon: Breast Cancer Survivor Luncheon at the Kingman Regional Medical Center's Hualapai Mountain Campus, 3601 Santa Rosa Drive.

PINK HEALS KINGMAN

9 a.m. walking parade. Staging starts at 8:30 a.m. at Homestyle Furniture parking lot next to Ross Dress for Less on Beverly Ave.

9:30 a.m. Pink Heals Ceremony at the pavilion behind the Del E. Web Wellness Center on Beverly Avenue.

10 a.m. Kingman Regional Medical Center's Women's Health Expo at the KRMC Medical Professional Building, 1739 Beverly Ave.

10:30 a.m. Pink Ribbon Drop in Kingman Regional Medical Center's back parking lot on Western Avenue.

FUNDRAISERS

Name the Pink Police Car - tickets are $1 for one and six for $5. Tickets available at the Kingman Police Department, 2730 Andy Devine Ave. and the city of Kingman Human Resources Department, 301 N. Fourth St.

Pink Ribbon of Lights - $5 for a light bulb at the KRMC gift shop, imaging center or cancer center on Stockton Hill Road.

Cookie sale - $10 a cookie jar at the KRMC cafeteria in the main hospital on Stockton Hill Road.


The Third Annual Kingman Cancer Care Unit Walk a Mile in Their Shoes Charity Walk was held Saturday in downtown Kingman.

Starting at the historic Bonelli House, walkers proceeded along footprints representing cancer patients for a mile downtown before ending the walk at Redneck's BBQ.

Several local businesses and organizations helped sponsor the event. Proceeds go to cancer patients in Kingman.

What a great day that was.
I'm there in the blue hat and it looks like I have a belly! It's either just my shirt or I really need to stop going to Golden Corral lol
